POT - PTFE Bearings
POT PTFE BEARING WITH ELASTOMERIC BEARING PAD EMBEDDED INSIDE OF STEEL PLATE CAN BE DIVIDED INTO FIXED POT BEARING, GUIDED POT BEARING & FREE SLIDING POT BEARING. POT BEARING TAKING LARGE LOADS, LARGE HORIZONTAL DISPLACEMENT & LARGE DISPLACEMENT IN CONFINED AREAS.THE LOADING CAPACITY OF ELASTOMERIC BEARING IS LIMITED, THUS POT BEARINGS ARE OFTEN REGARDED ARE SUITABLE FOR USE WHEN BRIDGES NEED LARGE BEARING REACTIONS.
Spherical Bearings
spherical bearing is one type of bridge bearings with large rotation capacity. spherical bearings can be divided into three types; fixed spherical bearing, guided spherical bearing & free sliding spherical bearing. these bearing especially designed for high vertical, horizontal and lateral loads and where large rotational structural displacements need to be accommodated.
Rocker Cum Roller Bearings
these bearings consists two or mores rollers of steel along with a rocker arrangement which permits a longitudinal and rotational movement.
rocker cum roller bearing is tested for 1.25 x vertical design load.
Strip Seal Expansion Joints
strip seal expansion joint for movement upto 80mm are made of single set structural steel, rubber sealing strip and headed studs. expansion joint are usually set at each end of the bridge, between ends of the beam and abutment or on the hinge joint of the bridge.

Rubber material- Chloroprene rubber (CR) or natural rubber as per IRC specification.
Modular Expansion Joints
Modular expansion joints are assembled with external beam , middle beam, cross girders, displacements control system, bridge bearings, anchoring components and rubber seal. modular expansion joints are suitable for 80mm to 1200mm longitudinal movements.
modular expansion joints can accommodate movements in every direction and rotation about every axis.
Finger Type Expansion Joints
Finger type expansion joints are designed to handled movements of 80mm to 1200 mm are composed by steel plates and other components.
the rubber sheet is placed on the retractable sheet and anchor bolts helps to fix the whole structure. the orientation of the fingers is in the traffic direction, which can reduce the noise & make the drive smooth.
Compression Type Expansion
compression seal expansion joints consists if steel armoured noising at two edges of the expansion joint gap suitably anchored to the deck concrete and a performed Chloroprene elastomer compressed & fixed in to joint gap with girders. it is recommended for simply supported or continuous spans right or skew moderately curved with maximum horizontally movement not exceed 40mm.
